R.A. Smith National Wins National Recognition Award for State Highway 145 Roundabouts, Richfield, Wisconsin
BROOKFIELD, WIS. – R.A.Smith National – a multi-disciplined civil engineering and surveying firm – Brookfield, Wis., is the recipient of a National Recognition Award in the American Council of Engineering Companies’ (ACEC) 2011 Engineering Excellence Awards (EEA) competition for the design of the State Highway 145 roundabout project in the village of Richfield, Washington County, Wisconsin. The project is the first roundabout project in Wisconsin to include a unique sequence of five, closely-spaced roundabouts.
