Project Overview
As part of the WIS 23 expansion project, raSmith provided transportation design and surveying services for the County G interchange in Fond du Lac County. The project included the design of single-lane roundabouts at the ramp terminal intersections, and the design of on- and off-ramps from the WIS 23 mainline.
Additionally, the design incorporated the Old Plank Road Trail and a snowmobile trail through the interchange. The roundabout and interchange plans were part of a larger plan set for WIS 23 designed by the Northeast Region of the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT).
