Project Overview
raSmith provided site design services for the development of this Residence Inn extended-stay hotel in Orange County. The firm’s comprehensive services included: site planning, civil engineering, project coordination, sanitary sewer, Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans, Water Quality Management Plans, water main relocation, water line easements, lot line adjustments, and street improvement plans with a bus stop and shelter.
Project coordination presented one of the biggest challenges. raSmith worked with the City of Brea’s Building & Safety, Public Works, and Fire Departments; Orange County Public Works; Orange County Transit Authority; Foothill Transit; and Caltrans to successfully complete this project.
The modern, five-story hotel features a custom layout, expanded meeting facilities, an outdoor pool and fireplace, fitness center, restaurant, and other amenities to benefit guests.
