Project Overview
The Town of Cedarburg and the Wisconsin Department of Transportation reconstructed approximately two miles of Cedar Sauk Road between County Y and Northwood Road. The existing two-lane undivided roadway was constructed in kind, with the existing asphalt pavement surface recycled by pulverizing the asphalt and overlaying with new asphalt. Since the project is located adjacent to wetlands, the Cedarburg bog, and golf courses, special attention and detail was required to ensure no encroachment of wetlands or vegetation occurred during construction.
