Project Overview
Construction is underway for the expansions to five school buildings within the Orland Park School District 135 in Orland Park, Illinois. The schools involved in the renovations include Centennial Elementary, Liberty Elementary, Orland Junior High School, Prairie Elementary, and High Point Elementary. raSmith provided site design and civil engineering services to support these projects. One of the biggest challenges involved managing five separate and concurrent zoning approval processes. raSmith collaborated with the client and stakeholders to complete the zoning and other site design services.
