Project Overview
The Site Design Group at raSmith leveraged its private sector land development experience to support this project for the Larry Roesch Volkswagen dealership in the Village of Bensenville, Illinois. The project consisted of expanding the dealership with a new 1,800-square-foot car wash addition to benefit its customers.
raSmith worked with the client and others to provide a stormwater management design, topographic surveying, construction documents, and permitting. One of the biggest challenges involved relocating the existing on-parking lot detention volume into an underground detention system. Through each step of this complex process, raSmith collaborated with stakeholders to successfully design this stormwater solution.
