Project Overview
raSmith was brought on board to provide civil engineering services for the 35-acre Titletown District development as part of the joint New York-based Sterling Development and Green Bay Packers project team. Our traffic engineers were a logical addition to the team based on our extensive experience with traffic engineering, site design, access management, parking and pedestrian accommodations.
Responding to an evolving site plan, addressing game day and non-game day event traffic, and providing visible pedestrian connections were paramount to optimizing traffic and pedestrian flow in and around the Titletown development and Lambeau Field. A traffic impact study was completed as part of the project approval process. The study identified site access and public roadway improvements necessary to accommodate development traffic. Several pedestrian crossing alternatives of Ridge Road were also evaluated to ensure a functional and attractive pedestrian connection between the Titletown development and Lambeau Field. The transportation design solutions met Sterling Development’s needs and achieved Village of Ashwaubenon and Brown County approval.
