Project Overview
Over the past several years, Brookfield Square Mall has received numerous renovations and improvements to keep up with the demands and expectations of today’s shoppers. CBL Properties, the mall’s owner-developer, chose to work with raSmith on these improvements because we understand developers, tenants and their unique needs, applying a holistic approach to the entire real estate process. Brookfield Square Mall was no exception. Renovations and additions at Brookfield Square include a remodeled facade, several new restaurants, Movie Tavern by Marcus Theatres, WhirlyBall and outlot developments including Outback Steakhouse and Uncle Julio’s.
raSmith is providing construction staking, site design, landscape architecture, irrigation design, traffic services and project coordination for this multi-phase redevelopment project. Incorporating the new design around existing infrastructure called for creative problem solving from the raSmith team. raSmith also conducted monthly UAS (drone) flights and provided imagery of the construction’s progress.
In addition, raSmith is working with the City of Brookfield on the Brookfield Conference Center on the south side of the mall, as well as providing construction services to the City for public utility improvements to support the overall development project.
