Project Overview
Discount Tire Company, Inc. is a privately-owned retailer of automobile tires and wheels based in Scottsdale, Arizona. raSmith’s site design team has provided Discount Tire with multi-disciplinary services since 2014 for more than 100 new retail stores across the United States. Discount Tire currently owns and operates 1,000+ stores under the Discount Tire and America’s Tire brands. They are the nation’s largest independent tire and wheel retailer with stores in 35 states.
raSmith’s site planners, site designers, civil engineers, landscape architects, development managers, structural engineers, and surveyors have provided a variety of services depending on the needs of each development project. Services provided include, but are not limited to, site investigation reports, site planning, zoning, due diligence, site design, civil engineering (grading, utilities, water quality features, and erosion control), landscape architecture, municipal approvals/permitting, surveying, structural retaining walls, and traffic studies/reports.
The site design team at raSmith works directly with Discount Tire and the architects involved with each project to coordinate all aspects of a site development project, inclusive of site challenges, permitting, approvals, entitlements, project schedules, and budget.
In addition to our current work with Discount Tire, raSmith provided civil engineering and surveying services for the 23-acre Discount Tire Distribution Center in Perris, California, built in 2017.
