Project Overview
The reconstruction of Maple Avenue is the most extensive roadway project ever undertaken by the Village of Sussex. raSmith provided construction inspection and surveying services for this $12 million project, which completes the reconstruction of all of the major arterials within the Village. The client selected raSmith because of our team’s proven success and previous collaboration on similar projects.
The Maple Avenue project consisted of two separate one-mile segments — the south and center sections and the north section. Collectively, raSmith oversaw the concrete pavement, curb and gutter, concrete sidewalks, storm sewer, sanitary sewer, water main, and landscape restoration. raSmith also served as the primary contact to stakeholders and residents regarding construction activities, providing excellent customer service and coordination to facilitate a successful project.
