Project Overview
Noble Energy was interested in building a speculative office building in the Southpointe II Business Park. raSmith provided land surveying and site engineering services to Horizon Properties Group, LLC for a six-story office building and an adjoining two-level parking structure on a seven-acre site. The infill development is part of the overall 39-acre mixed-use development for which raSmith has provided all site engineering and land surveying services since 2006.
raSmith’s working relationships with the review agencies and Cecil Township staff ensured that project approvals were obtained within the client’s compressed timeline. Pedestrian connectivity to various town center destinations at Southpointe was an important site design consideration. The Noble Energy project received a “Best Built to Suit” award from the Pittsburgh chapter of the National Association of Industrial Properties (NAIOP).
