Project Overview
Towering mature oaks and wetlands frame four baseball diamonds as well as seven large and five small soccer fields on 64 acres at the Pewaukee Sports Complex. The engineering and landscape design, which involved the sports clubs from the start, features minimized grading in the sensitive areas, accommodating a 200-foot sheer drop at the edge of the property and provides for parking for up to 500 vehicles.
The site is further comprised of an on-site storm sewer, grass swales and wet basins for stormwater management. Construction inspection, plan preparation, bid documents, stormwater management, as well as landscape, irrigation, grading, mound-septic-system design were provided by raSmith’s open space team. The site plan includes a walking trail and two concession buildings that will be built in the future.
