Project Overview
Roosevelt Elementary School in Wauwatosa is committed to providing an engaging learning environment for students in grades PK-5. raSmith provided surveying, site planning, landscape architecture, and civil engineering design services for upgrades to this campus. The reconfiguration/reconstruction of this existing school campus included the consolidation of the playground area and features into one location, the reduction of pavement, the establishment of an outdoor classroom area, the repaving of the boiler plant area (courtyard), and the reconstruction of the ballfields and multipurpose lawn areas, making the site accessible from a travel path perspective including the reconstructed pick-up/drop-off area.
