Project Overview
The burgeoning north-south I-94 corridor between Milwaukee and Chicago is fast developing with easy transportation access. The Village of Salem Lakes created a business park for mid-size industrial and manufacturing facilities.
raSmith provided design services, project and construction coordination, plan preparation and specifications, landscape architecture and construction management for the 80-acre Salem Business Park. Services included stormwater management, site grading, erosion control, new roadway, storm sewer, sanitary sewer, water main, pavement marking and permanent signage. A multi-use pathway was designed for the business park to eventually connect to, and be coordinated with the Kenosha County bike system.
raSmith also provided UAS services to the Village of Salem Lakes for marketing of the Salem Business Park. The Village, in conjunction with the Kenosha Area Business Alliance, needed current aerial imagery of this new business park development to aid in marketing the remaining undeveloped lots to prospective businesses.
