Project Overview
The Village of West Milwaukee was faced with regulatory requirements to reduce flows in its sanitary sewer collection system. raSmith was uniquely suited to work with the village based on our close working relationship as West Milwaukee’s village engineer as well as our depth of experience in sanitary sewer evaluation and rehabilitation.
raSmith developed a targeted approach to reducing flows from both public and private sources and bringing the village’s collection system back into compliance. The Village completed the necessary public and private sanitary sewer rehabilitation to reduce flows in their collection system. Modern innovation was exercised by using trenchless technology to complete the private property rehabilitation work. The project accomplished a reduction in flows and satisfied regulatory requirements.
