Floodplain Management

Flooding resulting from streams, lakes, and other waterways knows no boundaries. raSmith staff have diligently worked with both public and private sector clients to address any challenges presented by floodplains or regulations associated with them. We have an experienced staff that works across our different disciplines at raSmith, who can efficiently navigate the floodplain permitting process with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (WDNR) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). Our team recognizes that floodplains may impact entire communities, and we aim to provide guidance and designs that not only enhance our natural resources, but also provide a successful outcome for our clients.
